Create character styles

- [Instructor] Let's head back to the pages panel and access each master page to style the text on the running header. Select the text frame and then apply a paragraph style of your choice. I will use the body copy style. By doing so, all the formatting we have created in the paragraph style will be applied to the selected text in one click. If you wish to make small overrides to the style, the best way to do so is to create a character style. Character styles will allow you to change only some attributes, such as the font family and size, ignoring all the other character attributes. With the text frame selected, click on the little plus icon at the bottom of the character styles panel to create a new style formatting. If you cannot find the character styles panel in your workspace, choose Window, Style and Character Styles to display the panel. Often, this panel is hidden next to the paragraph styles. Double…
