Create a table

- Let's see how to create tables in Affinity Publisher. In our file is some text that I'd like to put in a table. And to create a table you have to use the table tool. So I'll take it and start dragging on my page. As I drag, I'm telling publisher how many rows and columns I want on my table. And the number of rows and columns appears at my cursor. So, if I just drag straight down, I get one column. And the further I drag down, the more rows I get. If I drag back up, I get fewer rows. If I drag to the right, I get more columns. Drag back to the left for fewer columns. I'll drag to make a small table with three columns and three rows. And when I release, the table is created and the columns are labeled with letters and the rows are labeled with numbers. These are just for reference. They won't appear in any output.
