Custom color swatches and graphic styles
I use custom color swatches and graphic styles to speed up my own workflow and improve the overall creative process so let's get started. Now with every file I open up, whether it's a new file or an old build file on a project, my color palette by default is always what's showing here and if you actually look at my swatches panel, it matches what you see on the screen now and I do on a project and then that way I don't always have to recreate the wheel. I can grab a color, and adjust a hue, and if I want to use a different version of that color, then I'll save it as its own swatch. One thing you'll notice, is all of these swatches have the white triangle in the bottom right hand corner. That means that all of theses swatches are global colors and I'm going to touch on that in a just a second, and explain why I use global colors, because it makes managing artwork a lot easier as I'm going to demonstrate, but one of the other things that is in my custom profile for new files when I open…
