Do you have a checklist when things are going south?

- When you're looking at a page that's not resonating with you, you kind of want a checklist to go through, it's like, what might be wrong with this? It could be in the image, it could be in the type, it could be in the color, it could be the layout, it could be the combination of things. Every time you put an image onto a field, it starts interacting with that field, and then you could put a second image onto the field, that they start interacting with each other and with the field, and the more things you put on the page, the more interactions you're going to get. One approach might just be to take everything back off and start one at a time. Okay, do I like this photograph here? Do I like the photograph, is it any good? Do I like the illustration, and so on? Pull that off, put the type on. What do I think of this? I would look for contrasts cause we see with contrasts. So look for, do I have contrast here? Do I have a big thing and a small thing, or a dark thing and a light thing?…
