- [Instructor] As soon as Pantone announced the new colors of the year, I heard a mix of excitement and confusion regarding the color selection. Many associated this combination with the industrial or construction industry, however, Illuminating and Ultimate Gray bring us a whole new area of opportunities to express ourselves. Since we have two colors this year, we're going to take a look at the emotional associations a little differently. I'm going to share the emotions linked to each hue first and then we're going to take a look at a few examples of how both shades come together to remind us of how resilient we are and that we're heading for brighter days. And we're going to start with Illuminating. Illuminating feels enriching and vibrant, and because it's in the yellow spectrum, it's one of the most visible colors.
