- [Presenter] Let's get started with a tour of the Affinity Publisher user interface. When you first launch the application, a welcome screen will appear. If you closed it, you can always reopen it from the help menu. And in the main part of the welcome screen, you can find links to news, resources, and special offers on Affinity products. On the right, you can download sample files. Click the home button to get back to the main welcome screen. And there are also links to tutorials, a user forum, and the Affinity social media channels. If you don't want to see this welcome screen each time Publisher starts up, then deselect this option. I'll close the welcome screen. And the main area of the window where you work on your document is called the canvas. If you want to hide everything but the canvas, you can press tab. Press tab to bring it all back again, and on both sides of the canvas, I have sets of panels docked…
