- [Narrator] Let's see how to export Affinity Publisher layouts to PDF for professional printing. In our document we have five spreads that make up a magazine article. And the best way to send these to most print service providers, is as a PDF. So to create that PDF, I'll choose file, export, and in the dialogue I'll choose the PDF format and then I can choose a preset to use as is or customizes it the specific PDF settings that my printer requires. So let's talk about what some of these presets are. First I'll choose PDF for export, and click more to show all the available settings in the dialogue and I'll just go over some of the highlights of what makes each preset unique. What's notable with PDF for export is that images are not down sampled at all. So whatever resolution that they had in the layout is what they'll have in the PDF.
