Export PDF for the web

- In this movie, we'll see how to export a PDF for sharing and displaying on the web from Affinity Publisher. Here we have a file that we could distribute online as an example of the kind of articles you'd find in this gardening magazine. And PDF is a great format for distributing content like this, since by definition, it's portable. The file will contain all the art and all the fonts necessary to display the content. And the layout will stay fixed in place. So, to export a PDF for the web, I'll choose File, Export. And in the dialog are all the file formats you can export to from Publisher. And you can see that most of them are image formats. Things like PNG, JPEG, GIF, TIFF, Photoshop, and so on. But the one we want now is PDF. The first menu gives you access to the presets that come with Publisher. And some of them are for printing, like PDF for print. And the PDF X presets, which conform to international…
