How we test to refine

- How do we test our ideas in a way that we are able to rapidly refine them? This is a great question. You start with a clear business or customer need, research and observe how your customers interact with your product, prioritize insights you've gained, and create a hypothesis in the form of a concept. You can test it and then you can run it through this cycle. For this cycle of work, it's important that you use testing methods that teach you something about how your customers use your product, feature, or service, rather than a testing method that may provide a pass or fail result. That nuance is very important because most of us think about refinement as experimentation and experiments within an inventor type of space.
