- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll see how to import text into your Affinity Publisher layouts. With all its text editing features, you could use Affinity Publisher as an authoring tool and just write all your content directly in the program, but in professional publishing, the text is almost always going to be written in a program like Microsoft Word and then placed into a layout program. And so Affinity Publisher can import Word files with the DOCX extension, as well as RTF files and plain text files, and, in fact, you can place text from multiple files at the same time either into the same text frame or separate ones. So let's see how to do that. I'll choose File, Place, and choose the two Word files in the Exercise Files folder for this movie called Bulbs Intro and Bulbs List.
