- We've spent some time talking about usability testing, A/B testing, multivariate testing, user testing and so on. Now let's talk about how to figure out which method works best when, it's not one size fits all. In fact, many people that I speak with struggle determining what testing method to use. It's okay if you found yourself doing the same, I've been there. Personally I've seen an experienced it within larger product teams and organizations most often. It's a fairly common pitfall to use the same method again and again because it's what we know and are set up for, it's been accepted. Furthermore, it's not unusual for a team or even company leadership to have reliance on a single or very limited number of testing methodologies.
