Modify master page items

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how to modify master page elements in Affinity Publisher. In a previous movie, we saw how to create and apply masters and we added content to placeholder frames on our document pages. But what we haven't tried yet is to modify the frames themselves. If I click on one, notice how the control handles are all x'd out, so I can't move, resize, or delete any of these frames right now. And see how the controls in the Transform panel are grayed out. I also can't change the formatting of master page frames by editing their strokes and fills. In order to do that, I have to either detach or link the masters from one of my document pages. The first step is to go to the Layers panel and here I can see one layer named for the master page that's supplied, Article Opener. And it contains all of the master page elements on this spread.
