Quickly locate and change a color

- [Instructor] Let's explore another amazing, useful feature of InDesign 2021, Locate Color. You can now quickly search for all instances of a color in one or more InDesign documents, delete any unused colors, and replace them with any other color. To locate a specific color, head to your Window panel, then select Color and Swatches to reveal the Swatches panel. We'll right-click on the color that you wish to locate and select Find this color. The Find and Change Colors window will appear. Now, let's give it a try by changing the color of the background to pink in one go. Make sure to include a master of pages and lock the layers. Select the changed color to a different color of your choice from the Color dropdown menu. Click on Change All. InDesign will let you know the number of instances found and changed. Click on Done. And as you can see, everything that was yellow is now pink. Let's move on to the next step.
