- [Instructor] Thumbnail sketches are a great for roughly capturing the essence of an idea. But in order to build precise factor artwork, we'll need to refine our sketches so we can easily discern the shapes we need to create in Illustrator. One of the biggest challenges for designers is ideas. But many good ideas fall short because of poor execution. Something is lost in translation from the rough stage to the final digital form. So in this movie, we'll go over the importance of scrutinizing your drawing, refining and making improvements until you have a tight refined sketch that will assist your vector building.
