Removing unwanted headers
- [Instructor] OK, we've added our running headers, but now we need to remove the headers on the chapter opening pages, because they are not needed. There are 34 chapters, so we don't want to have to delete them one by one and then, worse than that, if our pagination changes, we find that the chapter opener ends up on a page where there is a header. An obvious way to do this in a way that we are not going to do it, is to create a second master page. But let me show you why this won't really work. I'll create a new master page based on a master and on my now b master, I will come and override all the master page items and and just delete the headers. I'll go to page 12, which is a chapter opener. I'll hold down option alt and apply the b master to that page. Okay, that's looking good, but what if I come to the previous page and I insert a large illustration and that's going to happen at some point.
