- One of the biggest roadblocks that you'll face in visual communication design is the expectation to wear multiple hats. For example, you may be the only designer at your company and therefore you are expected to manage every single phase of content creation. Or you may be a founder looking for ways to grow your business without hiring a larger team. So the bulk of the work rests on your shoulders, even larger companies with budgets to grow their teams as needed, sometimes expect one person to handle all aspects of content creation, but this approach hinders efficiency and often leads to missed opportunities and lackluster results. For example, imagine that you're tasked with researching all of the content for an infographic, writing the infographic script and designing it.
