- When popular culture, mysticism, and science collide, I always want to make sure I'm there in time for a front row seat. These are the combo that make for high drama and a heck of a story. And depending, and I just mean depending, it's usually when a few hucksters show up just to stir the pot and draw out the easily swayed. A number of years ago, J.K. Rowling as part of the Harry Potter series introduced us to this symbol for the sign of the Deathly Hallows. The mystic symbol represented the trinity of a cloak of invisibility, a powerful wand, and a stone that gave eternal life.
