- [Narrator] As we start our look at working with page objects we'll begin with the Snapping options in Affinity Publisher. Snapping can make almost any object aligned to anything else on the page when you're drawing, resizing, or moving things and it can be a great help or it can get in your way and slow you down. So it's worth getting to know the options so you can really take control of Snapping. Snapping controls are found up in the tool bar where you see this magnet icon. Click the magnet to toggle Snapping off or on. Click the triangle to open the Snapping dialog and here you can really customize the Snapping behavior of Publisher and make it do exactly what you want. There's a screen tolerance value which lets you control how far away you have to be from something before you snap to it. Then we have a menu of presets which are collections of Snapping settings.
