Use guides to create a grid

- [Instructor] To give structure to your document layout and organize your content so that it's easy to understand, let's create some grids. While still working in the master page, choose the Layout menu and select Create Guides. Guides will help you to create a grid inside your pages and you will easily distribute your content, well, pleasing the eyes. Click on the Preview box to see that guides appearing as you go. I will set up a three by four grid by selecting three rows and four columns. I will also set the gutter to three millimeters. The gutter is the space between rows and columns. It allows breathing space between elements that sit on the grid. Make sure to change the options to fit guides, to margin, to distribute your grid within the margin area. When done click on OK. Now, let's get back into our pages, and as you can see the grid is applied to both pages. You can now toggle between normal mode and preview…
