Using the Assets panel

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll see how to use the Assets panel to store and reuse elements in Affinity Publisher. In our first file, we have a tri-fold brochure, and it has some elements that we could probably use in other documents for this same company, things like logos on the front and back panels, and this text frame containing two heading styles. Before adding these things to the Assets panel, I'll create a category for them. I'll go to the panel, which is in the left side of the studio by default, and I'll go to the panel menu and choose Create New Category. Then I'll choose Rename Category, and I'll call it HP Assets, for Hansel and Petal. It automatically has one subcategory called Assets by default, and let's rename that by going to the secondary menu across from the name Assets, and choose Rename. I'll call this Logos, and then go up to the top menu on the Assets panel and add another subcategory.…
