- [Instructor] In this movie we'll see how to use the find and replace feature in Affinity Publisher. In our document here, we have lots of measurements in inches and feet that are expressed in abbreviations of IN period and Ft period, and if I zoom in, we can see some of them, and let's say we needed to change all of these to spell out the whole words, inches and feet, that's a perfect job for find and replace. I'll zoom back out and to open the panel, there are several ways you can go. You can choose view, studio, find and replace, or you can choose text, find, or what you'll probably do most often is use the keyboard shortcut, which is Command + F on Mac, or Control + F on Windows. Both find and replace have fields where you can type in the text that you want, as well as a pop up on the left for entering special characters, and a gear icon on the right that you can click to include formatting.
