Using assessments to evaluate your team

- We have a tendency in the creative industry to assume if there's a problem with a project or our business, it must be a client issue, but have you ever stopped to look at your firm's communication, process, track record and account management? When was the last time you asked your clients for feedback or received some feedback from your team? If you are having consistent challenges getting work, keeping that work on track, or retaining clients or employees, it's time for some assessments. When putting together assessments for clients and your team, consider using Google Forms, Survey Monkey or MailChimp. I would recommend doing this on at least an annual basis, but doing this more as you tweak things can be helpful too. I would just avoid doing it more often than quarterly as that could create some fatigue and information overload.
