Warp text around an image subject
- [Narrator] In this video, we're going to explore the new intelligent feature of InDesign 2021. The subject aware text wrap will detect the subject intelligently in the images. Any one click will wrap text around the controls of a subject directly, without having to use alpha channels or Photoshop paths. I will introduce another image in the document using the same techniques shown in chapter three, video three. With the image frame selected, choose window then text wrap to access the text wrap panel. Pick the third option. I can wrap around object shape. The text will wrap around the graphic frame. Now head to control options and click on the down pointing arrow next to type. Here, select select subject. As you can see, the text will wrap around the subject and it's contour perfectly in just one click. Click away to deselect your image, then press the letter W on your keyboard to switch the view from normal to preview.…
