When to reach out directly

- In this lesson, we'll learn how to engage and stay in touch with your new and existing relationships and how to better manage priorities and leverage your time for the most impact. I have one simple and very effective strategy that I call my relationship curation strategy for building and maintaining relationships. This strategy is based on establishing a weekly goal to reach out to at least three to five contacts per week. These contacts can be culled from past clients you haven't spoken with in awhile, important connectors, strategic partners or potential prospects that have expressed interest in working with you. At least one or two of these contacts should be someone new that you've never met. When I say reach out, this means by any means you feel most comfortable, depending on the relationship.
