Why I started exploring empathy

- I'm a graphic designer, and I've owned my company for almost 30 years. I've dealt with both amazing and horrible clients. I've written a couple of books, and I've taught at a few schools. I've also authored a few other courses on LinkedIn, which you should check out. As I got older, I became increasingly interested in the psychology of how we work, why jobs sometimes work out so well and others less so. What are the obstacles? What are the signs? And how can we continue to improve? Design is part art and part commerce, but schools rarely teach about working with others, and I think they should. A big part of doing a good job is being able to collaborate well with your clients, or no one will ever get to see the great thing you did.
