Work with group styles

In this movie, we'll see how group styles work in Affinity Publisher. Group styles are text styles, but they're different from paragraph and character styles, in that you can't apply them directly to text. The purpose of group styles is to make it easier to create a set of related styles that share certain formatting attributes. And to make it easier to edit many styles at once by simply editing one group style. I'll show you what I mean. On this page of my document, I have text formatted with styles like Intro Copy Drop Cap, Body Copy, and Left Line Caption. And obviously, they have differences, like the drop cap, the point size, and the leading, but they actually have much more in common. They all use the same font and color, the same tracking and indents, the same hyphenation and justification, and so on.
