Work with vector masks

- [Instructor] Let's take a look at how to work with vector masks in Affinity Publisher. First, I'll click on the layer I want to mask in the Layers panel. And we can mask a layer with any vector object, including ones that you draw with the vector tools. So I'll take the cloud tool and drag. Then, with the object positioned directly over the layer I want to mask, I can right-click and choose Mask to Below. Or if I undo, I can also drag the object and drop it on top of the thumbnail of the layer I want to mask. At this point, I can resize and reposition the mask, or if I deselect and switch to the move tool and then reselect, notice how I have both the mask and the image selected, so I can manipulate them at the same time. Deselect and click on just the mask in the Layers panel to manipulate it separately again. And since the mask is a child of the image in the Layers panel, we can select the image and choose Lock…
