Design a custom rubric

- [Man] We've already covered analytic and holistic rubrics in the course "How to Teach with Desire to Learn 2016." Sometimes, though, you have grading that requires for fine grained control than those basic rubrics provide. For that, you're going to need a custom rubric. To create a custom rubric, begin by going down to rubrics in the assigned assessment section of the course administration page. Give it a click and on the ensuing screen, select new rubric. Give the rubric a name, we'll use something simple, like sample rubric and then add a brief description of the rubric's purpose, if you like. Next, make sure the rubric type is set to analytic, which will break the rubric assessment up into categories. If you've already planned how many levels and criteria you're going to employ, you can also specify these here. For our demo, we're going to to need three criteria and five levels.
