Set up a self-calculating gradebook

- [Instructor] You have a couple of options for Gradebooks in D2L. And no matter your grading style, you can customize a Gradebook to your liking. So let's go over to the Grades tool, which in our setup is under the Assessments tab. If you're really starting from scratch, the best place to begin is with the Setup Wizard, which can take you through the initial options. Here, you get some initial information about your default Settings. To customize them, just click Start. Your first choice is whether to use a Weighted system, or a Points-based system. A Weighted system is based around different percentage values for each assignment. While a Points-based system uses assigned points values. If you want to combine the two, you can, but you'll have to customize the formula on your own, which has a higher degree of difficulty.
