Add brand graphics to models
- [Instructor] With Dimension, it's super easy to add Illustrator or Photoshop graphics to 3D models, and Dimension recognizes art boards within those documents. This is a handy feature when creating a composite with multiple variations on a theme. I've set up the graphics for this project with two art boards, one for lemon and one for chili. I've put all of my graphics in a Creative Cloud library. Let's switch to that. With the exception of the table background, all of these graphics are Illustrator files. Here's the limitation. If you place an Illustrator graphic from a library, the vectored content is not retained and you won't have access to your art boards, essentially you get a placed PNG file. To retain the vector content, we have to import the graphic from the hard drive. I'll undo that with a command or Ctrl+Z. The import method requires selecting a surface first.
