Align and Distribute
- [Instructor] Dimension's new Align and Distribute tool makes it quick and easy to align a group of models, even different types of models like we see here. I set this scene up with some starter asset models and scattered them in the scene to demonstrate how Align and Distribute work. To use Align and Distribute, you have to first select more than one model. So I'll use the selection tool and drag across these models to select all of them. Then if we come over here to the right side in the actions panel, we see the quick action for Align and Distribute. If I hover over it, we'll see that the keyboard shortcut for that is A. I'll click on that. And that will open the widgets for Align and Distribute. We have widgets for the X, Y, and C dimensions and there are several ways to interact with these widgets.
