Dimension starter assets
- [Instructor] Dimension can't create 3D models. Instead, it provides a collection of starter models that are built into the application. Dozens of starter assets are built in. These include models, materials, lights, and graphics. All of them have been optimized for Dimension, so this is the first place I look when searching for models. Assets can be filtered with the Filter By icons here. We have Models, and then Materials, Lights, and Images, or graphics. I like to change this from the icon view to the list view. I'll go back to the models here. Up here, under the More Options dots, we can change those and toggle it to the list view. I prefer this, so that I can see the names of the models. Let me show you just how quick and easy it is to create a moody lunchtime scene like this using just the Dimension starter assets. Let's start with a table.
