Magic Wand and Sampler tools

- [Instructor] So we've seen how the object tools can be used to select models in a scene, now we will take a look at how we can make more detailed selections using the magic wand tool. I'll switch to the magic wand tool with the w on my keyboard and we'll see it that it's highlighted it blue in the toolbar now. If you need to select a small piece of a complex object the magic wand tool gives you that control. It has a sensitivity slider similar to PhotoShop's magic wand and when set to tiny it will select different surfaces of the same model. We need to take a look at the tool options to set that sensitivity slider. A long click on the tool will bring out the tool options and we'll see that by default this tool is set to tiny. I'm going to slide this out to large to start and then I'll click on a coffee cup lid and we'll see that that's selected the entire lid. Now let's go back to the tool options.
