- [Instructor] I found this antique couch on Adobe Stock. I'll select it and in the properties panel, we can see that its built with two submodels. If I double-click and get into the submodel, we can see that each of the submodels is created with its own image standard material. Dimension supports two types of materials, Adobe standard and substance, and this couch is built with a standard image material, which we can see here in the base color. There's an image applied there. The denim material, which is part of the starter assets, I'll switch to that by filtering for materials here and scroll down, actually, many of these materials down here are substance materials. Let's take the denim and apply it to the couch. Substance materials are parameter based, not image based and every substance material will provide a different set of property sliders. If we look down in the properties panel here, we see a lot of sliders that we wouldn't see if we were working with an image material. I…
