- So I really hope you've enjoyed all the lessons on this course and you're feeling inspired to get out there and draw. The most important thing for you to remember is to practice. Get out with your sketchbook and look for those morning light with the sun just coming up, those dark shadows in the evening and really look for all that inspiration around you in the city or town where you live. It could be so interesting to look back on your sketches that you make because they can really form a really lovely visual diary of the experiences and what you notice as you go around your daily life. Urban sketching has also got a really good community feel to it and you'll find thousands of urban sketches worldwide that are all capturing their cities. It's a great way to connect with other artists, share your drawings and more importantly share your stories of where you've been. So get the sketchbook out, don't get put off if a drawing is going wrong. Turn the next page, start the next sketch…
