- So, working alongside my grey pens, if I wanted to add a little bit more color, to start with, I'd work in monochrome, and I'd use like, a sepia pen. So, this is a sepia brush pen. So, it's very similar to the other brush pen, it's just got a sepia ink in it that's water soluble. So, you can brush this onto your drawings, and then add water to add a little blush of water color effect. If I then want to add more color, I'll often go out with these water color markers, and these are really handy because they've got a different marker at each end, one for a finer line, and one for a thicker line. And you can just block down areas of color with the markers, and then when you're in a more comfortable position, or back in a studio, you could add a little bit of water on top, and it will blush into your sketches really nicely.
