- [Instructor] Illustrator provides some very valuable and fairly complex options for saving your file from Illustrator to SVG. Let's take a look a them. I'm going to choose File, Save As, select SVG, and I immediately get a reminder that if all I needed was simple options I could Export for Screens, but I need complex options, and so I'm going to chose More Options and take a look at these. Now the advanced options in the SVG Options dialog do a couple things. One, they impact the kind of code that gets generated. And in many situations many of the options that we'll explore produce artwork that's indistinguishable to the end user, to the viewer in a website, but is different for coders. So we'll walk through what that means and how that works. The other thing I wanna note right away is that there's an element of trial and error in these features and you're going to want to avail yourself of the launch a web browser to preview your SVG file tool icon frequently as you go.
