- [Instructor] This chapter is devoted to creating and styling HTML tables in Dreamweaver CC 2017. The focus will be on using tables as they're intended to be used. In other words, for displaying data in tabular form. For many years, tables were used for page layout, but that's no longer acceptable in modern web design with one major exception. If you need to create HTML emails, you'll need to use table layout for all but the simplest of designs, because widely used email programs still have poor support for CSS. If you're interested in building news letters in HTML email, check out the full sample email templates that come with Dreamweaver. You can access them from the start screen.
