Customize the insert panel
- [Instructor] The insert panel can be customized in several ways to suit your working practices. It doesn't matter which file you use, but you do need to have a webpage open in the document window. The simplest change is to hide all of these labels. You do that by opening this drop-down menu and selecting hide labels from the bottom. The labels disappear, all the icons move up alongside each other, making a much more compact panel. And you can still tell what each icon is for by hovering over them and you get little tool tip. This can be quite useful when working on a small monitor because you can increase the size of the bottom group of panels by dragging the top edge upwards. And to restore the labels, just open that menu again and select show labels. And of course if necessary, increase the size. If you find you're constantly having to switch back and forth between different categories in the insert panel, it's a good idea to put your most frequently used items in the favorites…
