- [Instructor] Dreamweaver's Live View is based on the rendering engine that underlies Google Chrome, Safari, and Opera. So what you see in Live View is extremely close, if not identical, to what you see in a modern browser. In effect, Live View is a browser built right into the document window. And if that weren't cool enough, Live View is also editable. Let's take a look at the various ways that you can edit in Live View. I've opened index.html in the ch0404_01 folder of the exercise files. This American spelling of "neighborhood" in the tagline at the top of the page isn't really appropriate for a hotel that's mean to be in the heart of London. To edit text in Live View, first select the element. You should see that blue border and the element display, indicating which element has been selected. Then double click. The border turns to orange to indicate that you're in edit mode. So if I just move my cursor to the correct place, add that U in there and click away to exit edit mode…
