Exporting with transparent backgrounds

- [Instructor] How do you export a file to SVG from Illustrator with a transparent background, that is to say my three yellow balls and my tennis ball should have the same background color as the webpage or wherever I'm sending them. Well, it's easy in Illustrator to do that. Let me give you a couple tips to make it more intuitive. First of all, if you select View, Show Transparency Grid, you can tell what part of an image is transparent and what isn't. And we can see here that there's no background. Now were I to draw a background, and let me just do that really quickly to make a point, were I to draw a background and move it to the back, I could easily tell, uh-oh, I've got a background on this image when I export it to an SVG file that white background will go with it. So I wanna make sure that I don't have any background like that. I'm often asked, "How can I preview what "a transparent image will look like "against the background where I'm sending it?"
