Extending Dreamweaver

From time to time, you're going to want to add some type of functionality to your site that just isn't included in Dreamweaver's Default Toolset or Capabilities. Now if this happens, it doesn't necessarily mean that you're out of luck, or that you are going to have to code the functionality yourself. Chances are, the very feature you're looking for might be only a click-away. We have kind of experimented already with Extending Dreamweaver when we were talking about using the widget browser in the previous movie. But there is another option as well to Extend Dreamweaver. Adobe's Dreamweaver Exchange is an open marketplace, where you can download JavaScript Behaviors and Dreamweaver Extensions that can extend the functionality of Dreamweaver. There are literally hundreds of the Behaviors and Extensions that you can browse and install using Adobe's Extension Manager. Chances are you just might find exactly what you're looking for.
