- [Instructor] Let's take a look at a bad, an okay, and a good example of a form input to highlight the kind of problems that we are going to learn to solve in this course. Here's our bad form; and if I go to enter my date of birth, even on a laptop, I have to find the number keypad and tab from one field to the next. And then if I make some typos along the way, then that's a hassle. Let's look at a form that makes it easier to enter a date. Now this is an okay form; it's an improvement. This form does have drop downs, so it's easier to choose a date; and that's a little less hassle, nice. But the technique that we will cover here in this course is one that displays a calendar so that when a user goes to enter a date, they can just scroll through a calendar, one-click shopping; and you've selected a date.
