- In the previous video, you saw how Dreamweaver automatically applies headings and paragraphs to text pasted from a formatted Microsoft Word document. If you're using the Windows version of Dreamweaver, you can go even further by importing the entire content of a Word document in a single operation. Sorry, if you're on a Mac, this won't work. But that's not all bad news because importing a Word document is an all or nothing option. Copy and paste is often more efficient because you can select only those elements that you want. Still, let's quickly show you how to import a Word document. You must be on Windows and be able to open Microsoft Word documents. If you don't have Word, you'll need to install the Microsoft Word viewer, which you can obtain free of charge.
