The Insert panel and Quick Property Inspector

- [Instructor] You build web pages by inserting html elements such as headings, paragraphs, images, and structural elements into the page body. Dreamweaver's insert panel speeds up this process regardless of whether you prefer to use the program's visual tools, or to work directly with in the code. In the default workspace of Dreamweaver the insert panel is the third tab in the top panel group. If you can't see it, go to the window menu, and select insert. There's also a keyboard shortcut control F2 on windows, command F2 on a mac. At the top left of the insert panel is a little dropdown menu that gives you access to different categories of elements. The first one is html. This contains all the most frequently used html elements. Div, image, paragraph and so on. Some elements like this one, heading, have a little down arrow next to the icon. If I click that, you can see that it gives us access to h1, h2, all the way through to h6, and the now deprecated h group. When you select one of…
