- [Instructor] As well as linking to other pages, you can also link to a specific point within a page. This technique is often called linking to a named anchor because way back in the early days of the web, the point being linked to was specified using an anchor or an A tag with a name attribute instead of href. But that method is outdated. If you're migrating from an old version of Dreamweaver, you won't find named anchor as an option in the insert panel anymore. It's been removed. Instead of linking to a named anchor, you give the elements you want to link to an ID. I've opened index.html in the chapter six 06_05 folder of the exercise files. And if I just scroll down a little bit, after this image is the paragraph and I want to link these words rooftop cafe to the relevant section in dining.html.
