Manage files and folders

- [Instructor] As you build and maintain your website, you will need to manage your files and folders, not only create new ones but probably also rename them or move them to a different location. Planning the site's structure in advance is important, but if you're anything like me, you're bound to see better ways of organizing some parts of it as you develop the site. When making changes to files and folders, always use Dreamweaver's files panel because it keeps track of the relationship between all the assets in your site and updates them as necessary. I have amended my site definition to point to the chapter two zero two underscore zero four folder of the exercise files. Let's start by taking a closer look at the files panel. The drop down menu at the top shows you the currently selected site. And if you have multiple sites defined, you can use it to switch between sites. Switching sites doesn't close any files you have open from the previous site, and this is actually quite useful,…
