Set site link preferences

- [Instructor] By default, Dreamweaver creates document relative links when linking to internal files but if you're working on a project that requires links relative to the site root, you need to set that preference before you start work. This is a setting that's controlled separately for each individual site. So you need to open the site setup dialog box. By the way, there are no exercise files for this video so you can ignore what's displayed in my files panel. You can go to the site menu, select manage sites, then select the site you want to change, and then click the edit currently selected site icon down at the bottom. That's one way of doing it but a much quicker way is just to double click the current site name in the top of the files panel, and that opens the site set of dialog box for the current site. Then expand advanced settings and select local info. At the top there, we've got links relative to the document, that's the default, or site root. If you select site root, you…
