Style borders - Dreamweaver Tutorial
From the course: Dreamweaver CC Essential Training
Style borders
Using the CSS designer to style borders has been greatly simplified in this version of Dreamweaver. I'm going to add a top and a bottom border to the Room Service article in dining.html. In live view I've selected the paragraph that's inside the Room Service article and in the CSS designer I've got the All button selected then in the Sources pane main.CSS, in the App Media pane Global, and then room service in the Selectors pane. To get to the Border section of the Properties pane you need to click the third icon that takes us to Border. If you know the short hand you can type it in manually here but actually these five icons make creating borders in the CSS designer simplicity itself. They're fairly self explanatory. This first icon sets the same border on all sides. Then if you want to set them on separate sides you've got one for top, one for right, one for bottom, and one for left. So I want both top and bottom so select top then the width, I'm going to make it one pixel width…
