- [Instructor] Links are interactive, so when I hover over one of these links in the navigation bar, not only does the cursor turn into a hand, the color changes. To handle the various interactive states of links, CSS provides what are known as pseudo-classes. Although you can apply different styles to links in different parts of a page, I think it's a good idea to create some basic styles that apply to all links and then override them later with more specific selectors. I want to add my basic styles immediately after the body style rule. So I make sure that All is selected in the CSS Designer, then in the Selectors pane, select body. It should be the third item down from the top. The selectors that I want to create are very simple, so it doesn't matter what's selected in Live view at the moment.
